Two individuals were arrested in connection with several burglaries in Napa after a BOLO alert was issued out of Solano County.

On August 5, Benicia police officers responded to a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) alert issued by the American Canyon Police Department for a vehicle linked to several burglaries in Napa.

An Automated License Plate Reader detected the vehicle, which was later located in a parking lot at the corner of Military and East 2nd.

Officers contacted one suspect, who fled on foot but was quickly detained.

A second suspect also tried to flee on foot across East 2nd. The suspect was soon apprehended.

The Napa County Sheriff’s Office reportedly searched the vehicle and recovered $4,000 in cash, a cell phone, and other personal items connected to the burglaries.

One suspect was identified as being on parole and recently released from prison. Both suspects were arrested and taken to jail, police said.
