A Shasta County man was arrested in connection with an ongoing investigation by the Shasta Interagency Narcotics Task Force.

According to a press release, task force detectives and the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office AB109 compliance team carried out a search warrant on the morning of Tuesday, August 13, at a residence on the 27000 block of Whitmore Road in Millville.

Authorities had identified Clyde Clifford Greco, 35, as the primary suspect in the case.

Greco has been under investigation by SINTF since early 2024, authorities said.

During the search, authorities reportedly located a rifle, processed marijuana, ammunition, and an outdoor marijuana cultivation site.

Greco was reportedly arrested prior to the search on suspicion of being a convicted felon in possession of ammunition.

Greco was later booked at the Shasta County jail for the alleged possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, cultivation of marijuana, and possession of ammunition by a prohibited person.

Authorities said this was the third time this year Greco has been faced charges of being a felon in possession of firearms and ammunition.

Greco was out on bail from prior cases at the time of his arrest, according to the report.
