Kern County Deputies Arrest Man for Alleged Narcotics Sales, Felony Warrant

Kern County authorities recently arrested an individual on a felony warrant, which led to the discovery of evidence of alleged narcotics sales.

On Thursday, Aug. 22, deputies from the Lamont Substation reportedly arrested Jesus Campana, 35, of Lamont, in connection with an active felony warrant. The arrest occurred around 3:00 p.m. on the 7900 block of Alden St.

Following the arrest, deputies served a search warrant at Campana’s residence, allegedly leading to the discovery of more than two pounds of a suspected controlled substance, a loaded firearm, and evidence of drug trafficking, including a large amount of cash.

Campana was booked at the Kern County jail on suspicion of the possession of a controlled substance while armed, maintaining a place for narcotics sales, possession of a controlled substance for sale, and the outstanding felony warrant.
