Merced Police Seek Leads in Fatal Shooting on West North Bear Creek Drive

Merced police are investigating a homicide that occurred earlier this week.
According to police, officers responded early on the morning of Monday, Sept. 9, to the 1800 block of West North Bear Creek Drive to investigate reports of an unresponsive person.
At the scene, officers found a juvenile male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene, police said.
Investigators are canvassing the area for witnesses or video surveillance that may have captured the crime. No suspects have been identified as of yet.
