Clearlake Oaks Incident Leads to Arrest for Illegal Firearms Manufacturing

“On September 17, 2024, around 2:30am, deputies responded to the 100 block of Short Street in Clearlake Oaks, CA, due to reports of threats being made with a firearm.

Upon investigation, deputies found several firearms in plain view and saw multiple 3D printers. Deputies authored and served a search warrant for the residence, which resulted in locating three 3D printers, multiple ghost guns, including functional 3D-printed firearms, and components to make privately manufactured firearms without serial numbers.

Dorian Ridley, 21, of Lower Lake, was arrested on felony charges related to manufacturing and possessing illegal firearms.
