Kings County Investigators Seek Leads in Fatal Shooting of Jonathan Sanchez

The Kings County Sheriff’s Office continues to seek leads in the fatal shooting of Jonathan Sanchez back in April.

Sanchez was found on the 200 block of 5th Street in Kettleman City on the night of April 2, the Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.

Police had initially responded to the scene for a report of a person who had been shot. Sanchez was ultimately pronounced deceased at the scene.

Since then, investigators have developed new information and is calling on the public for any possible leads. Investigators have reportedly identified a suspect vehicle, describing it as a black or dark-colored Chevy pickup.
