San Francisco Police Swiftly Arrest Three in Midnight Armed Robbery and Firearm Incident

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — In the early hours of September 22, 2024, San Francisco Police Department officers from Bayview Station were dispatched to a robbery incident on the 300 block of Bayshore Boulevard. The victim, who was riding his electric scooter at the time, reported being surrounded by several suspects who threatened him with firearms and forcibly took his scooter and other belongings. The suspects then fled towards Cortland Avenue.
Following the incident, officers from Ingleside Station joined the search after receiving descriptions of the suspects involved. Three males matching the descriptions were soon detained near Nevada Street and Cortland Avenue. Upon investigation, officers found two of the suspects armed with concealed loaded handguns and located the victim’s stolen property nearby.
The suspects, including a 16-year-old male and two 18-year-olds, Jefferson Galo and Jephson Galo from San Francisco, were arrested on multiple charges, including robbery, conspiracy, illegal possession of firearms, exhibiting a deadly weapon, and carjacking. The arrest was the result of effective coordination between multiple police districts within the city, highlighting the department’s commitment to addressing violent crimes and ensuring public safety.
