Fresno Police Call on Public for Help Amid Fatal Shooting Investigation

Fresno police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in late September and are calling on the public to come forward with any relevant information they may have.
According to a press release by the Fresno Police Department, officers responded at around 4 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, to a report of shots fired on the 4400 block of East Floradora.
At the scene, officers found 40-year-old Ricardo Martinez Olguin suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. Olguin was discovered conscious and lying beside his bicycle in the roadway.
According to police, Olguin told officers that he had been shot by an unknown individual who was also on a bicycle.
Olguin was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
Homicide detectives are investigating, and the motive for the shooting remains unclear.
