Humboldt County Authorities Reportedly Seize Two Pounds of Meth During Traffic Stop

EUREKA, CA – Authorities in Humboldt County reportedly seized over two pounds of methamphetamine during a traffic stop earlier this week.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff’s deputies and agents with the county’s Drug Task Force made the discovery during a traffic stop in Eureka on Tuesday, Oct. 22.
A K-9 deputy conducted an open-air sniff on the vehicle and reportedly alerted to the presence of narcotics inside.
When authorities conducted a search, they discovered over two pounds of methamphetamine and a digital scale, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Diana Reeves, was arrested on suspicion of the possession of a controlled substance and transportation of a controlled substance for sale.
