Clovis police have reportedly arrested an individual in connection with an armed robbery at a massage parlor in the Shaw and Dewitt area.
Police say that just after 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22, officers responded to reports of an adult male entering the business, displaying a handgun, and robbing an employee of cash before fleeing in a vehicle.
No injuries were reported, and no gunshots were fired during the incident, police said.
Using surveillance footage from private and city cameras, officers identified the suspect as 24-year-old Victor Vargas of Clovis. Detectives arrested Vargas near Shaw and Minnewawa the next morning, on Wednesday, Oct. 23.
A search warrant executed at his residence reportedly led to the discovery of three airsoft guns.
Vargas was booked into Fresno County jail on robbery charges.
