ELVERTA, CA  —  “On Wednesday (10/30/2024) shortly before 6 p.m. a deputy spotted a vehicle connected to 51-year-old Jimmy Buckley, who had a Ramey warrant for attempted murder. The deputy followed the vehicle in the Elverta area as additional deputies responded. Buckley ultimately stopped at a home on Browning Street in Elverta. He got out of the vehicle with his hands up, but as deputies approached and warned he was under arrest, he attempted to run. He didn’t get far, within a few feet he ran into a large propane tank, which knocked him to the ground, and he was arrested. Buckley was taken to the hospital to be evaluated and will be booked into jail.

Buckley was wanted in connection to a shooting that occurred on the morning on 10/16/2024 along Pleasant Grove Road near Riego Road. The victim did survive his injuries. Through our investigation we identified 51-year-old Jimmy Buckley as the suspect and a Ramey warrant was issued for his arrest.”
