Operation Royal Flush: Central California Authorities Arrest 77 People, Confiscate Weapons and Narcotics in Gang Enforcement Operation
“In June of 2023, the Kings County Major Crimes Task Force recognized a rise in local gang violence associated with the Norteno criminal street gang. Based on the results of a joint investigation by the Kings County Major Crimes Task Force and the CA DOJ Special Operations Unit, the Norteno criminal street gang members have been identified as being present in Hanford, Kettleman City, Lemoore, Avenal, Stratford, Corcoran, and Armona. Nortenos are a subset of the Nuestra Familia (NF) enterprise, which is a notoriously violent prison gang engaged in a variety of crimes, including murder, illegal drug/gun sales, robberies, assaults, money laundering, amongst other crimes.
This morning at approximately 0600 hours, law enforcement agencies throughout the State of California converged on the Central Valley and served approximately 52 search warrants and arrested 77 individuals on various charges (See above). During these search warrants, approximately 7 assault/long rifles, 25 handguns, 118 phones, 24 magazines (to include a drum magazine) and a rocket launcher were recovered. Also, during the investigation, cocaine, heroine, methamphetamine and Xanax were also located (Unknown total available at this time). In total, 17 individuals were arrested on homicide related charges with 10 of those individuals being juveniles. This solved three homicides which had occurred within Kings County. Additionally, $6,000 dollars in US currency was recovered. (Reference board of mugshots created by Cal DOJ).”
