Madera County: Suspect Arrested in Connection with Shooting on State Route 99

Madera County authorities have arrested an individual in connection with a shooting on State Route 99 in early November.

According to the California Highway Patrol, investigators have identified the primary suspect in connection with a shooting that occurred on State Route 99 north of Avenue 18-1/2.

On the morning of November 19, authorities carried out a search warrant in Merced as part of the investigation, at which time the suspect was arrested.

Authorities reportedly also confiscated a stolen firearm, narcotics, and other weapons.
