Azusa Police Reportedly Arrest Gang Members on Gun Charges

Azusa police have reportedly arrested two individuals on weapons charges.

According to a press release, officers responded on the night of November 27 to the 1000 block of West Fourth St., where someone had reported seeing a subject armed with a gun.

Responding officers noticed a vehicle departing the scene, stopped the vehicle, and made contact with the occupants.

Officers also searched the vehicle and reportedly discovered a loaded 9mm handgun and a loaded magazine.

The occupants of the vehicle, whom police identified as Paul Medina and Dennis Robert Ayon, were arrested.

Both are documented gang members and also had probation holds placed on them, police said.
