Four Arrested in Connection with Gunfire Investigation in Magalia

Four people were arrested amid an investigation into gunshots fired in Magalia earlier this week.
According to a press release by the sheriff’s office, deputies responded on the evening of Monday, Dec. 2, to reports of multiple gunshots on Imperial Way in Magalia.
Deputies spoke with individuals at the scene and determined no one was injured.
Investigators reportedly believe the suspects, who had fled the area by the time deputies arrived, may be known to the victims.
Deputies found evidence linking a nearby residence to the incident. They obtained a search warrant to investigate further.
Four people were arrested during the investigation, the sheriff’s office said.
Jessica Britt, 32, of Magalia, was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment and possession of a controlled substance.
Russell Gage, 32, of Paradise, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance while armed and possession of methamphetamine.
Jonathan Gardner, 37, of Chico, was arrested on suspicion of altering or removing identifying information from a firearm.
Nathan Gould, 48, of Magalia, was arrested on suspicion of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, ammunition, and body armor.
