San Joaquin County Deputies Reportedly Confiscate Stolen Property, Ammo

San Joaquin County authorities arrested two individuals after allegedly discovering stolen merchandise, a weapon, and ammo in their possession.
In a press release, the sheriff’s office revealed that they had confiscated several boxes of suspected stolen merchandise and an extended magazine on the afternoon of Wednesday, Dec. 4.
Deputies had responded to El Dorado Street for a report of a suspicious vehicle and made contact with the occupants, whom they identified as Jonathan Tomek and Gilbert Jauregui.
Deputies reportedly discovered that Tomek had an active warrant, and that Jauregui was on active probation.
Upon searching the vehicle, the deputies allegedly confiscated an extended magazine and “several boxes” of suspected stolen merchandise.
Authorities also searched the nearby area and reportedly discovered a discarded loaded Glock .27 semi-automatic handgun.
Authorities have yet to identify a possible theft victim in connection with the merchandise, the sheriff’s office said.
