The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is calling on the public for help in locating Michael Cady, 34, of McKinleyville.
Cady was identified as a suspect in a robbery and attempted homicide that occurred on April 13 in Fortuna, authorities said.
Authorities have reportedly identified three suspects in connection with the crime.
Two others — Jackson Parrott, 44, and Christopher Overholt, 43 — were also arrested in August and December of this year, respectively, in connection with the case.
On Friday, Dec. 6, deputies carried out a search warrant at Cady’s residence but found no one on the property. The investigation is ongoing.
Anyone with information on Cady’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office at (707) 445-7251 or the Crime Tip line at (707) 268-2539.
