Visalia Police Arrest Suspect Following Pursuit and Standoff in Attic
“Man Arrested After Leading Police on Pursuit and Hiding in Attic
Around 1:00 p.m. Visalia PD officers initiated a traffic stop at Mooney Boulevard and Tulare Avenue. The vehicle failed to yield, and a pursuit was initiated. The vehicle stopped in the area of Vassar Avenue and West Street.
The driver, 39-year-old Robert Davis, ran from the vehicle and was found hiding in the attic of a nearby home. With help from a Tulare PD K-9, Davis was arrested in the attic and taken into custody without further incident.
Davis was arrested for numerous charges along with multiple outstanding warrants. He was booked at the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility. #visaliapd”
