“On December 30, 2024 Officers from the Colton Police Department were contacted reference a 28 years old male subject having a sexual relationship with a minor under the age of 14 years old.
The Detective Division was contacted and took over the investigation. During the investigation, Detectives were able to identify the suspect as 28 year old Albert Perez of Corona, California.
Detectives successfully located and apprehended Perez at his workplace on January 2, 2025. He was subsequently booked into West Valley Detention Center facing charges under California Penal Code sections PC 261.5 and PC 288(c)(1).
