Temecula Man Arrested for Murder Following Deadly Shooting

“On January 4, 2025, at 4:59 a.m., deputies assigned to the Southwest Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to an assault with a deadly weapon call in the 32900 block of Josheroo Court, Temecula. The caller, identified as Micah Harris, a 22-year-old male from Temecula, advised that he had just shot another adult male inside the residence. Deputies arrived on scene and detained Harris. Several other additional individuals were located at the residence. Deputies checked the interior of the residence and located a deceased male. The identity of the victim will be withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.
Based on the circumstances, the Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. Harris was later arrested and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for murder. There are no known additional suspects in this incident.
