Two Suspects Arrested in Bloomington Homicide Investigation

On November 17, 2024, at approximately 8:21 a.m., deputies from the Fontana Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a man down in the 12800 block of Holly Street in Bloomington. Upon arrival, deputies located 19-year-old Rene Isordia, a Riverside resident, who was deceased and displayed multiple injuries.

Detectives from the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail, assumed the investigation. Through their efforts, investigators identified two suspects involved in the incident: a 16-year-old male resident of Fontana and 25-year-old Adam Gutierrez of Redlands.

On December 5, 2024, with assistance from San Bernardino County Probation, detectives apprehended Gutierrez. He was initially booked for probation violations and subsequently for murder under Penal Code 187. On January 2, 2025, with support from the Sheriff’s Specialized Enforcement Division, the 16-year-old male suspect was located and taken into custody. He was booked into the San Bernardino County Juvenile Detention Center for the same charge.
