Kansas Man Arrested in Crescent City for Allegedly Brandishing Gun, Stealing Occupied Vehicle

CRESCENT CITY, Calif. — Police have arrested a man for allegedly brandishing a gun and stealing a car on Christmas Day.

According to a press release by the Crescent City Police Department, officers learned that an individual had allegedly brandished a gun at a local Safeway before stealing a car from the parking lot with someone inside it.

Police later found the car, along with the 18-year-old occupant, in the parking lot of the Foursquare Church.

Just before 2:30 p.m., police announced that the suspect, identified as 39-year-old Alexander Burgdorf from Kansas, had been arrested.
