Former School District President Criminally Indicted for Alleged Fraud, Embezzlement

STOCKTON, CA  —  A grand jury has indicted Angel Ann Flores on criminal charges related to alleged embezzlement and fraud.

In a press release last week, the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office announced that Flores had been criminally indicted on charges of making false or fraudulent claims, embezzlement by a public officer, and embezzlement by public or private officers.

Flores is the former president of the Stockton Unified School District.

The district attorney’s office filed the original criminal complaint in April of 2024, following a referral from the school district.

Flores’s bond was set at $175,000 at the time.
