BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Authorities have reportedly arrested five individuals in connection with several recent burglaries in southern California.
In a press release, the Beverly Hills Police Department reported that detectives had carried out search warrants on Thursday, Jan. 16, related to the investigation.
The search warrants were served in the city of Los Angeles and resulted in the arrests of four people, as well as the seizure of stolen property such as firearms, watches, handbags, designer clothing, and more.
Detectives reportedly also seized clothing, mobile phones, and signal jammers connecting the suspects to the case.
Authorities say they have linked these suspects to multiple residential burglaries in southern California, including in Beverly Hills, Glendale, San Marino, Los Angeles, Burbank, Bakersfield, Ventura County, and Orange County, as well as San Mateo County in the Bay Area.
Police identified the suspects as Joaquin Vergara-Contreras, 29; Juan Antonio Silva Laoeza, 43; Elias Moncada Reyes, 30; Leidy Dayana Manrique, 30; and Matias Jesus Soto-Baraza, 22.
