Merced County Deputies Locate Stolen U-Haul, Items in Ag Theft Investigation

MERCED COUNTY, CA  ––  “This past weekend, Deputies patrolling the Beachwood area located a stolen U-Haul. This U-Haul was known to be a part of several Ag-related thefts that took place in Merced County. Our Investigations Bureau arrived and found multiple stolen items in the U-Haul.

Through the investigation, Detectives were led to a residence in the 2000 block of Granite Creek in Merced, where they found more stolen items. The suspect, identified as Mark Jurado, was arrested for probation violation, possession of stolen property, and attempted burglary. Detectives also arrested David Nesbitt for his outstanding warrants. The stolen items were returned to the owner.”
