Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest and Seizure of Three Firearms in West Sacramento
WEST SACRAMENTO, CA — “Last night, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a truck for vehicle code violations. Upon contact, the driver advised there was a loaded firearm the vehicle. The driver was detained and a loaded weapon was observed in plain view. A search of the vehicle yielded two additional firearms. A record check was conducted on the firearms and there was no record on file who was the owner of the firearms. The driver was arrested and transported to Yolo County Jail.
Nice job by all involved making sure these dangerous weapons stay off of West Sacramento streets!”
