Vehicle Theft Suspect Arrested After Police Pursuit in Vallejo

VALLEJO, CA —  “On February 3, 2025, Vallejo PD responded to a vehicle theft in progress at a business on the 1800 block of Broadway Street.

An adult male suspect stole a yellow cement truck, crashed through a roll-up door, and caused approximately $50,000 worth of property damages before leading officers on a short pursuit. Due to public safety concerns, the pursuit was canceled as the suspect continued driving recklessly, running red lights, and driving into oncoming traffic.

The stolen truck was later found crashed into a utility pole near Alabama Street and El Dorado Street. Community members provided critical information, leading officers to a nearby residence. A perimeter was established, and officers conducted a “surround and callout.” Despite the suspect refusing to cooperate, he was taken into custody after a brief struggle.

A records check confirmed that the suspect had two arrest warrants for probation violation and a restraining order violation out of Pleasant Hill and Nevada, California. He was booked into Solano County Jail on multiple felony charges, and the cement truck was returned to the business.”
