Two Arrested, Narcotics and Weapon Seized Amid Theft Investigation in Kern County

MOJAVE, CA. — Kern County authorities have reportedly arrested two people and seized narcotics and a firearm in connection with an ongoing theft investigation.
According to a press release by the sheriff’s office, deputies with the East Area Section and Gang Suppression Unit carried out a search warrant on Wednesday, Feb. 12, on the 9000 block of 60th Street West.
During the search, deputies reportedly seized about 44 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a loaded firearm, and “gang indicia associated with the Vagos Outlaw Motorcycle Gang.”
Deputies also arrested Robert Klein, 56, and James Rogers, 50.
Klein was booked on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of a controlled substance while armed, participation in a criminal street gang, and resisting arrest.
Rogers was booked on suspicion of possession of stolen property, being a felon in possession of ammunition, and participation in a criminal street gang.
