Kings County Authorities Seek Whereabouts of Wanted Shooting Suspect
LEMOORE, CA — “On Saturday, February 15, 2025 at approximately 5:47 pm, KCSO Deputies were dispatched to the 16000 block of Sisco Court on the Santa Rosa Rancheria in Lemoore regarding a report of a person who was shot in the leg. Detectives were called out and learned that the suspect (Later identified as Samuel Brito) was responsible for shooting two people. One was a male subject who refused to cooperate with Detectives, and the second person was a Santa Rosa Rancheria Department of Public Safety Officer who had contacted Brito shortly after the first shooting had occurred. The DPS Officer was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive. Brito fled the scene towards his residence and was last seen wearing a red jacket, black pants, and a red bandana.
Brito currently has three outstanding warrants for his arrest, including a Ramey Warrant for the shooting that occurred last night. Brito is considered armed and dangerous.”
