SAN JOSE, CA — A Bay Area man has been arrested for the alleged sex trafficking of a teenager, according to police.
In a press release, the San Jose Police Department announced the arrest of Dante Price, 23.
Police say detectives responded to a patrol cal for service on January 31, and the department’s Sexual Assault Investigations Unit uncovered evidence of a potential human trafficking case involving a minor.
Detectives allege that Price had been trafficking the 16-year-old victim for commercial sex.
In February 7, authorities arrested Price on suspicion of human trafficking of a minor.
The victim has been rescued and provided resources, police said.
