SAN JUAN BAUTISTA, CA — San Benito County authorities reportedly arrested a man during a traffic stop after finding he had an active warrant for his arrest.
According to a press release by the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office, deputies pulled over a vehicle in San Juan Bautista on Wednesday, Feb. 5, and discovered that the driver was on probation and had an active warrant for their arrest.
Deputies also conducted a search of the vehicle and discovered a loaded weapon and narcotics, the sheriff’s office said.
The driver was arrested on firearms charges as well as for the alleged possession of a controlled substance.
