CULVER CITY, CA — Police are reportedly seeking two individuals in connection with a recent armed robbery in Culver City.
According to police, officers responded on the night of Thursday, Feb. 20, to the 5500 block of Sepulveda Boulevard to investigate a call of an armed robbery at an ATM.
Investigators say the victim had withdrawn money from the ATM when they were approached by two individuals, one of whom allegedly pointed a handgun at the victim’s head and demanded the money.
The suspect then allegedly punched the victim in the face and, once the victim was on the ground, both suspects allegedly assaulted the victim.
The suspects then took the victim’s cash — around $400 — and fled on foot, police said.
The first suspect was described as a Hispanic male standing around 5-foot-9 with a thin build, wearing a red and black jacket with a white stripe through the middle and black pants. The second suspect was described as male, but no further specifics were given.
