Motorcyclist Arrested After Allegedly Leading Kings County Authorities on Pursuit

ARMONA, CA —  “During the afternoon hours of Tuesday, February 25, 2025, Kings County Sheriff’s Office- Air Support Unit “Air 2”, observed an off-road motorcycle travelling recklessly on surface streets throughout the community of Armona.

Due to the danger imposed to the public travelling in the area, the crew of “Air 2” followed the off-road motorcycle rider and directed a Deputy to its location. Once in the area, a Deputy attempted to stop the off-road motorcycle rider, later identified as 20-year-old Alejandro Miranda. Alejandro refused to pull over and fled off-road at a high rate of speed. Because “Air 2” was overhead, the Deputy did not pursue Alejandro and Air 2 continued to follow him.

Alejandro fled for approximately 15 minutes through various farm fields, dirt roads and orchards, until running out of gas near the area of 16th Avenue and Fargo Avenue. The crew of “Air 2″ directed Deputies to the location where the 20-year-old motorcycle rider Alejandro Miranda was arrested without incident. Alejandro was subsequently booked into the Kings County Jail for failing to yield and the motorcycle was impounded.”
