Solano County Man Arrested in Connection with Fatal Shooting

VALLEJO, CA  —  “On February 14, 2025, at approximately 11:57 p.m., the Vallejo Police Department (VPD) Patrol Division responded to a call for service regarding a shooting on the 400 block of Sheldon Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers observed an adult female suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Officers immediately rendered medical aid to the female victim until the paramedics arrived. Despite the life-saving efforts of medical personnel, the female succumbed to her injury and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Vallejo Police Department Detective Division responded and took over the investigation. The investigation identified Imani Marquise Robinson, a 27-year-old Vacaville resident, as the suspect in this homicide.

On February 24, 2025, the VPD Detective Division obtained a Ramey and search warrant for Imani Robinson.

Later that day, VPD, in collaboration with the Vacaville Police Department’s Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team and Critical Incident Negotiation Team (CINT), conducted a successful operation on the 2000 block of Marshall Road in Vacaville, California. As a result of the operation, Robinson was apprehended without incident.

Following his arrest, Robinson was subsequently booked into the Solano County Jail for murder.
