SUTTER CREEK, CA — “On Sunday evening, a SCPD officer made a traffic stop at Sutter Ione Road and Highway 49. The officer spoke with the driver, a 32 year old Plymouth resident and the driver’s nine-year-old daughter.
The driver was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and was taken into custody. The officer asked him who could respond to take custody of his daughter, and he suggested his mother.
When she arrived on scene she was determined to be highly intoxicated, registering over twice the legal limit. She too was arrested.
The father was booked for child endangerment and DUI.
A FEW HOURS LATER ON MAIN STREET……………
The SCPD officer observed a vehicle driving on Main Street with two people sitting on the trunk of the car. The 18-year-old driver was arrested for DUI Under 21 years old, reckless driving and child endangerment.
For those of you keeping score, that is 3 DUI arrests in a matter of hours.
PLEASE DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE. THE RISKS TO YOU, YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS, AND THE COMMUNITY ARE SIMPLY TOO GREAT.”
