Clarksburg Burglary Foiled: Two Arrested with Stolen Trailer, Search for Third Suspect Continues

CLARKSBURG, CA  —  “On the night of March 12th, an off-duty Yolo County Deputy reported suspicious activity at a home in Clarksburg— the same location where a burglary had been reported earlier that day. This time, suspects came to the residence with a U-Haul truck and entered the garage. They stole a flatbed trailer that was there.

They left the residence and local witnesses were able to determine where the suspects were heading. Deputies quickly responded, locating the suspects as they reached the Freeport Bridge at the Sacramento River. A traffic stop was conducted, leading to the arrest of Marc Abell (40) and Mart McAdams (64), both out of Sacramento. Both were booked into the Yolo County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to identify a possible third suspect. If you have any information, please contact the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office.”
