Routine Traffic Stop Yields Cache of Stolen Firearms

FOLSOM, CA  โ€”  โ€œWhat started as a simple traffic stop quickly turned into a major arrest earlier this month.
Around 1 a.m. on March 6, Folsom Police Officers pulled over a vehicle near White Rock Road and Oak Avenue Parkway for driving without license plates.

During the stop, officers discovered that the driver was on searchable probation.
A search of the vehicle uncovered four stolen firearms, ammunition, tools, and camping equipmentโ€”all linked to a recent storage unit burglary in El Dorado Hills
