Felon Released From Court – Despite Felony Firearms Charges

SOUTH SACRAMENTO, CA  —  “Central Division Patrol Deputies pulled over 21-year-old Damario Burse driving near Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard and 14th Avenue in South Sacramento March 23.

Deputies learned he did not have a driver’s license and conducted a search of the vehicle before towing it.

Their search revealed an unserialized short-barreled AR pistol with a loaded 30-round magazine, two unloaded 60-round magazines, and multiple accessories for the firearm.
Burse was arrested for multiple felonies and transported to the Sacramento County Main Jail, where he was initially held on $50,000 bail.

Less than 24 hours later, the courts released him on his own recognizance. He is next scheduled to appear in court on April 15.
Based on his arrest for “non-violent” crimes, Burse’s booking photo is not available for release, per California law.”
