In a press release, the district attorney’s office announced the conviction of 63-year-old Edward Harold Biggs for the October 2023 murder of a man in Westwood.
The jury also found that Biggs had used a deadly weapon — an axe handle, in this case — in the crime, the district attorney’s office said.
In the press release, the district attorney’s office offered condolences to the victim’s family and thanked them for their patience and support.
