Sutter Creek Fugitive Captured After Community and Multi-Agency Effort

“TEAMWORK RESULTS IN ARREST

On 3/10/25 Amador County Probation advised the SCPD Officer that a woman wanted on multiple felony warrants and for a probation violation was on Main Street in Sutter Creek.

The officer checked Main Street but was unable to find her. Knowing the suspect from prior contacts, the officer went to a residence she was known to frequent.

As the officer was at the front door the suspect fled out the back door. SCPD and the responding assisting agencies searched but could not locate her.

Later, a Sutter Creek citizen advised that the suspect had gone back to the house. The officer returned to the house and the suspect again fled out the back door. The officer gave chase. Thanks to a perimeter set by neighboring agencies, the suspect was taken into custody.

The 29 year old Sutter Creek resident was booked in the Amador County Jail for multiple felony warrants.

Many thanks to the citizens who were our eyes and ears, and to Jackson PD, Amador Probation, Amador Sheriff’s Department, and other agencies for helping.”
