Stockton Police Issue Report on Recent Efforts to Combat Human Trafficking

“On March 7, 2025, the Stockton Police Department conducted a high-visibility, zero-tolerance enforcement operation targeting prostitution activity in the area of Navy Dr/S Argonaut St and the corridors along Sierra Nevada Street. As a result of this operation, officers arrested a total of 19 individuals engaged in prostitution at these locations.

As part of our ongoing efforts to connect individuals with support services, each person arrested was offered resources through victim-witness representatives to assist them in leaving the lifestyle.

Operation Statistics:

  • 7 traffic stops conducted
  • 7 citations issued to solicitors for prostitution
  • 19 individuals were cited for violating Stockton Municipal

Codes related to prostitution

  • 1 arrest made for pimping
  • 2 individuals accepted assistance from victim-witness representatives”
