SALINAS – Law enforcement recently served a search warrant on a home in the 100 block of West Laurel. They breached the front door and then called the subjects inside out to the front door.
As a result they detained 11 people, and then arrested 9 of them.

As a result, 0fficers located 13 ounces of meth, 2 grams of heroin, “indicia for drug sales,” a 12 gauge shotgun and shells.
40-year-old Felix Castro is the renter of the home. His charges include felon in possession of ammo and firearm and maintaining a place for selling controlled substances.
Juan Macias and Valacia Bugarin’s charges are possession of drugs for sales, probation violation and conspiracy.
The arrests of six unnamed others was for warrants and probation violations.
