Information leads Merced Police to Suspect selling drugs from his home

ATWATER – Members of the Merced Police Department developed information about an individual selling drugs from his home. They further investigated, and subsequently served a search warrant on the home of 38-year-old Jose Reyes.
The search warrant, served in the 1600 block of Almador Terrace Drive, located 10.5 pounds of packaged methamphetamine.
In addition, they also found digital scales, packaging material, metal knuckles, ammunition and $12,000 in cash.
Reyes was then arrested and charged with narcotics sales, felon in possession of ammunition and possession of metal knuckles.
