Vacaville woman shot through her front window
A Vacaville woman was shot early Tuesday morning when she went to her front door to see who was knocking at it.
According to the Daily Republic, the woman heard the knock at her home on Needham Drive at about 4:00 a.m. The woman looked out of her front window where she saw that someone was standing in her front yard. The person was carrying a firearm and shot at the woman twice. The shots shattered the woman’s window and one bullet struck the woman in the arm.
According to the Daily Republic, the woman told police she did not know of anyone that would shoot her. She was treated at a hospital for non life-threatening injuries, police said.
The woman was not able to describe the shooter except that it was someone wearing dark clothing.
