Tulare County Sheriff Detectives with the Tulare Area Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team were granted a search warrant for a home on the 600 block of North Garden Street in Visalia. On May 29th, they served the warrant, which resulted in two arrests.
During the search, detectives found a 45 70 Govt Rifle, ammunition, scales, and material believed to be used to prepare drugs for sale. In addition, five pounds of marijuana were confiscated, along with two pounds of methamphetamine, and $4000 in cash entered into evidence as having been earned through drug sales.
Held responsible for these items is 26-year old Moises Caballero. The Visalia man whose three young children ages six, three, and 3-months, were in the home at the time of the search, faces charges for possession of meth for sale, marijuana cultivation, maintaining a home for narcotic sales, and child endangerment. He is in custody at the Men’s Correctional Facility with bail set at $50,000.
Also arrested was 28-year old Palemon Viera., also from Visalia. Viera is a “Loco Park” southern gang member. He faces identical charges in addition to possession of stolen property, felon in possession of a firearm, and a gang enhancement. He was booked into the Bob Wiley Detention Facility with bail set at $90,000.
