PRPD seizes narcotics from man sleeping in car
The Paso Robles Police Department arrested a man on Friday with a large amount of narcotics.
Police say officers were notified of a suspicious subject in a vehicle in the 1100 block of 18th Street at around 9 a.m. When officers arrived on scene they located a subject asleep in a parked vehicle. The subject, according to police, was identified as Michael Mohammad Sabzevar, 34, of Ventura.
Officers soon determined Sabzevar was under the influence of a controlled substance and was placed under arrest. Police say during a search, Sabzevar was also found in possession of more than one ounce of heroin, along with methamphetamine, cocaine, narcotic pills, and narcotics paraphernalia.
Sabzevar was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail for felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession for sale of a controlled substance, felony transportation of a controlled substance, felony possession of a narcotic, felony possession for sale of a narcotic, felony transportation of a narcotic, possession of narcotics paraphernalia and under the influence of a controlled substance.
The Paso Robles Police Department is requesting that anyone who observes suspicious activity to contact the department as soon as possible.
