61 Year Old Man Arrested In Relation To 2002 and 2003 Sex Crimes Case

MAMMOTH LAKES – 61-year-old Christopher Adams Libby was arrested on July 22nd 2019 for three felony counts of sexual acts with a child under 14 years of age.
The crimes were allegedly committed in 2002 and 2003. The Mono County Office of the District Attorney notes that the counts are “in accordance with the applicable statute of limitations.”
The Office also cites “independent corroborating evidence” that supports the case.
The Mammoth Lakes Police believe that the potential for other victims in the area exists, and that these incidents could go as far back as the early 1990’s. As such, they have requested that anyone with information concerning sexual acts between Libby and children, please contact them at 760-970-8413.
A press release issued by the Mono County District Attorney reminds the public that Libby “is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
