Vallejo police make two arrests in connection with shooting
A Vallejo teen was arrested on Saturday night for allegedly harboring a robbery suspect.
According to the Vallejo Times Herald, Kevin Henderson, 18, is suspected of hiding David Webb, 21, of Vallejo after Webb was allegedly involved in an officer related shooting on Friday. Police believe Henderson, who lives in an apartment complex at 355 Parkview Terrace, was hiding Webb during a police area search. At the time police were investigating the same apartment complex for a robbery that occurred on Friday.
Police fired several rounds and Webb allegedly sustained injuries from the incident on Friday. Police also found a jacket with a bullet hole in it that was believed to have belonged to Webb and to have been worn the night of the shooting in Henderson’s car. Witnesses also stated that they saw a man shooting at police officers, according to the Vallejo Times Herald. Police stated Webb had been armed when he fled the scene.
Webb went to NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield where he received non-life threatening wounds from the shooting. He was arrested at noon on Saturday after receiving medical clearance, according to the Vallejo Times Herald. He was booked on suspicion of robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, promoting street gang criminal activity and committing a felony while out on bail.
