Argument over coffee ends with domestic violence arrest in Redwood Valley
REDWOOD VALLEY — Mendocino Sheriff’s Deputies recently arrested a 49-year-old woman after an argument with her partner about a can of coffee escalated to alleged domestic violence, officials say.
Deputies arrived on the 8800 block of Uva Drive just before 10 AM on August 16th, where they learned that the suspect, identified as Terressa Depree, had gotten into a physical altercation with the victim, her on-off boyfriend of around four years.
Their altercation, allegedly over ownership of a can of coffee, reportedly involved Depree trying to push the victim down the stairs and biting him on the back near his left shoulder, leaving a visible injury.
Depree was arrested and booked on suspicion of felony domestic violence battery.
