New charges for San Joaquin County inmate caught with contraband in unit

SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY — An inmate living at the Honor Farm has been relocated after being caught with narcotic contraband in his housing unit.
Custody K9 Sage and her handler conducted a search of the housing unit and uncovered 4.4 grams of marijuana, 2.2 grams of meth, 2 grams of tobacco, and 2 rolled cigarettes.
The inmate, identified as Eric McKinney, now faces charges of possessing a controlled substance in jail.
